DO 21st CENTURY GIRLS NEED MORE GUIDANCE FROM THEIR MOTHERS?
-- Raising daughters have not changed since the beginning of time. Competing with the masses of outside influences, mothers acknowledge their job is more challenging today when fighting the trenches to maintaining the leadership role in the home.
Houston, Texas (5/13/11) – Native Houstonian Gwen Gistarb will release her second book entitled, The Lesson Plan, A Workbook for Mothers and Teenage Daughters. The Lesson Plan introduces to mothers everywhere a guide for teaching their daughters simple everyday methods for surviving in the real world. The ten segments included are informative and written to assist mothers while raising their daughters in this complicated society. The Lesson Plan will launch May 31, 2011.
The Lesson Plan, a timely workbook uses objectives to introduce each segment to prepare mothers and daughters for what is to be learned. Mothers everywhere will welcome this informative guide to answer most questions daughters will have. Educational, inspirational and motivational lessons and activities are taught through metaphors, poems, and short stories that will allow mothers and daughters to work together to re-establishing lost relationships and a breakdown in communication. As stated by Marilyn Gambrell, Founder, No More Victims, Inc., ” Considering the relationships between mothers and daughters today, this book should be shared with mothers as well as school systems, community organizations, corrections agencies and faith-based institutions.”
